Personal confirmation
Arrange your appointment directly with Mechelle on WhatsApp. Please wait for her personal confirmation. Do not attend until Mechelle has confirmed your appointment personally.
Massage availability
Mechelle welcomes a maximum of two massage clients per day, Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 3 pm. Treatments last 60 or 90 minutes, with time reserved between clients. Massage appointments may be requested up to seven days in advance. Same-day enquiries are welcome, subject to availability. All times are South African time.
Reconfirm by 9 am
For massage appointments booked in advance, you must contact Mechelle by 9 am on the day of your appointment to reconfirm attendance and receive your location pin and access instructions. If you have not made contact by 9 am, your slot will be released to another client.
To respect your privacy, Mechelle will not chase confirmation. It is your responsibility to make contact. For same-day requests, attendance and arrival details must be agreed directly with Mechelle before you attend.
Changes and respect for time
With only two massage appointments available each day, your time is reserved especially for you. Please book only when you can commit to attending, and let Mechelle know as soon as your plans change so the space can be offered to another client.
Respect for each other’s time is essential. Repeated last-minute cancellations, missed appointments without notice, or disregard for the booking policy will result in future booking requests being declined.
Late arrivals
Please contact Mechelle promptly if you are running late. Your treatment time may be adjusted, and the full treatment fee remains payable because the appointment time has been reserved for you.
Massage payment
No deposit is required for massage treatments. Payment is due only once your treatment is complete, using Mechelle’s preferred payment method.
Private teaching: deposits and changes
Private teaching has separate arrangements from massage. A 50% deposit secures your teaching session, and the remaining 50% is payable on the day. Session options, prices and payment details are shared privately.
- Cancellation at least 72 hours before your session: receive a full deposit refund, or transfer the deposit to another available date.
- Rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice: transfer your deposit to a new date agreed with Mechelle, subject to availability.
- Cancellation with less than 72 hours’ notice: a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, up to the deposit amount. The charge will reflect the notice given, the nature of the booking and the reasonable opportunity to fill the session. Any remaining deposit will be refunded.
No cancellation charge applies where the person for whom the session was booked cannot attend because of death or hospitalisation. These arrangements do not limit applicable consumer rights.
If Mechelle needs to cancel
Mechelle will offer an alternative available date. Massage clients may reschedule then or contact her later when ready. For private teaching, your deposit will transfer to the agreed new date. If no suitable date can be agreed, your teaching deposit will be refunded in full.
Location and boundaries
Appointments take place at Mechelle’s private, home-based treatment space in Table View, Cape Town. No mobile massage is offered. The full address and access instructions are shared privately.
Comfort, consent and mutual respect are central to every treatment and teaching session. All sessions take place within clear professional and personal boundaries.
